PHOTO SAFARI: San Francisco
Fri, Sat, Sun  Fri, 7-9pm; Sat & Sun 10am-6pm,
February 27, 2009 - March 1, 2009

The Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Coit Tower, Chinatown, cable cars, steep rolling hills, eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture, and Steve McQueen in “Bullitt.” San Francisco is a photographic paradise. Of course, you won’t be able to shoot Steve McQueen, but the photographic possibilities in this historic town are endless. Join Aliine Smithson for this little weekend photo get-away. The workshop will focus more on fine art photography, attempting to depict the architecture and streets of San Francisco in a different light.
On Friday evening, the group will meet Aline, share backgrounds, and discuss logistics for the weekend.  Saturday and Sunday will be spent shooting in San Francisco. An early Sunday evening wrap-up session will offer participants an opportunity to share and discuss work. Open to photographers of all experience levels.

Pricing, lodging and itinerary information TBA.
